How it Works
When the sun shines onto a solar panel, energy from the sunlight is absorbed by the PV cells
this energy creates electrical charges causing electricity to flow (Direct current) DC, but for
use in the home this current has to be converted fom direct current to (Alternating current) AC
a process that is completed by the inverter. Once converted the enegy is fit for use in the
home as a unit measured in KWh, our electric bills are charged per KWh used, emphasising
the importance of generating from the solar system with the help of the sun to reduce our
reliance on the National Grid.
